‘Velocity’ is a sculptural chandelier commissioned by Rapoport Academy in Waco. This dynamic three-tiered installation features kinetic arms adorned with geometric ravens—the school’s mascot—in mid-flight. The piece emerged from a collaborative student-led initiative where art students developed concepts for a statement piece in their gymnasium’s new foyer. ‘Velocity’ harmoniously blends my signature abstract geometric style and kinetic elements with the students’ original vision of a multi-tiered chandelier, creating a work that embodies movement and school spirit.
