Abstract metal sculpture by artist Andrea La Valleur-Purvis

Arrangement I

2024

October 2024 – September 2025 – on public view with City of Georgetown, Texas

My artistic practice revolves around the interplay of human connection, reflected in the “Arrangement” series. This series, with “Arrangement I” as a starting point, explores the dance between shape, connection, and pattern-making. The sculptures invite the viewer on a journey of discovery, prompting introspection on how we relate to each other and the environment we inhabit.

“Arrangement I” itself is a playful composition of abstract forms. These elements connect, rotate, and stack, presenting a constantly evolving experience depending on the viewer’s perspective. Every shift in position reveals a new intersection of lines, shapes, and shadows, fostering a sense of wonder and engagement.
